I do not mean singers that become actors on Broadway. I mean singers that have an acting career prior to Broadway that you want on Broadway.

I've always said how much I'd love to see Seth MacFarlene on Broadway.
Also Nicole Scherzinger as she did so well in RENT and her performance of Phantom of the Opera. But there's rumours she's going to star as Grizabella in the West End revival of Casts o that dream might come true.

Posted: 9/22/14 at 12:46pmI thought it back when she won American Idol and I still say it now. Kelly Clarkson would have made a fantastic Maureen in Rent. Also, I really wanted Pink to play Peter Pan in the NBC telecast. I think she'd be marvelous. And can we get Jennifer Hudson to the stage, too?

Posted: 9/23/14 at 1:33amI rallied for Cyndi Lauper to do the revivial of Once Upon a Mattress that eventually starred Sarah Jessica Parker. And kd lang would have been great in Annie Get Your Gun. Cher, who did come to Broadway in a straight play, would have been terrific as Vera in Pal Joey.

To second other posters, Lady Gaga & Nicole Scherzinger. I think half of my posts are crying for a Kiss of the Spider Woman revival with Nicole as Aurora.
Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Drake - I thought they were great hosting SNL and have the talent to lead a musical.
Beyoncé- ok so she's not a great actress but she can do anything she wants and I'd watch it and love it.
Cher- Just to get the T of her EGOT.
Lauryn Hill- it'll never happen but it could be glorious.
Adele- Never seen her act but I feel like she could be a great Nancy in Oliver.
I'd love for Florence Welch or Jack White to compose a show.
Not a pop star but Bo Burnham has the lyrical prowess of a millennial Sondheim. Fully prepared for the ****storm I'm going to get for that.
