I'm not talking popular shows like "brooklyn," im talking shows like "SIDE SHOW" or "PARADE" that have turned out to be fanominal now that they are not on Braodway. Hahaha. Let me know!

Posted: 2/13/05 at 4:26pmI haven't heard 1776, but I am not a fan of Jane Eyre. The historical thing can be interesting, when all the 7th grade english classes haven't read it. Hahahaha. Historical pieces really blow me away when they are done right. Such as "Ragtime" and "Parade" and not to leave out shows like "Side Show" or "Floyd Collins."

Posted: 2/13/05 at 4:37pm1776 is really awesome. a few of the songs could easily be considered "corny" but the book is historically accurate, very funny when it wants to be, and ultimalty a very touching evening. "Molases to Rum" had my jaw dropped open the entire song. I guess it was good to see it first knowing nothing of it as I was shocked to the core.

Posted: 2/14/05 at 12:06amI think the revival of "You're a Good Man CHrlie Brown" was a perfect cast for that show. Its run on Bway was very short and over looked because it didn't get the Tony for best revival. It's a great show for anyone.

Atleast for me, once I ignored the fact that I've known this story since I was a little kid and really tried to rediscover it as if it were new, it came across as such a remarkable, brilliant, timeless story. It's quite amazing and I think it's a very very powerful show that's often overlooked.
