I hope they release a cast album though. I can't afford tickets to the show and I don't live in NY and I would really love to listen to the cast album. Plus, I want to hear the finale song.

I don't think we'll be getting one. They probably would've announced something by now if they were. Maybe they'll record the new song.

If this album were to be made, which I doubt it will be, it should be more like a "highlights" album, with only a song or two from each show.
I would KILL to hear Bryonha Marie Parham's "Cabaret" again...

I wonder if they will try to make some licensed version of this. That would (as always) be the chief incentive to do a recording.

It would be nice to have Jason Robert Brown's new song recorded, but at this point, I don't think this is happening, due to many reasons: copyright, lack of interests, etc.I'd like to have Bryonha's Cabaret on record, but there are too many versions of those iconic songs already, no one is asking for this cast album unfortunately.

If you’re referring to that thing airing on PBS also titled THE PRINCE OF BROADWAY, that’s not the show. It’s simply a profile/documentary about Hal Prince. They’ll show clips from this revue/show throughout it as well as other footage from his work but it’s not a broadcast of the current show on Broadway in its entirety.

Yea, that press release for the PBS show was misleading. They're not filming the show (that I know of).
