I don't know where my seats are, but I expect they're somewhere in the stalls and probably on an aisle. We'll have to all arrange for coffee or something beforehand.

Went past last night and the shoe still wasn't there! Looks pretty dull, needs far more sparkle!

The matinee of 'Priscilla' has changed days. The 5.15pm performance has now ben moved to Thurs 2.30pm.
The production is now at the Palace and the show is proving to be far too big to be turned around in the short time between the two evening performances on the Friday.
With the show running 2hr 45min it would have been just '30mis' between curtain down and curtain up.
A slight oversight by the producers perhaps but maybe they were just thinking of how popular that early Friday show is in the West End.
The Friday 5.15pm shows were not due to start until May anyway. With summer coming up, 2.30pm will be far more popular with the tourists.
Oh well, at least its great to hear how bloody big this new show is!

Strange choice of matinee day (Thursday)as at the same time it is up against Hairspray and Billy Elliot, two of the biggest shows in the West End, I thought they might opt for Tuesday, where it would only be up against Phantom, better still why not go earlier on the Friday (14:30)?

The updated schedule, and also it says the Gala Night is Tuesday March 24. Is this wrong or are we all going on the wrong night?

I cannot wait to see this next Tuesday, I saw this last year while on holiday in Melbourne and loved it. It will be interesting to watch again with a mostly new cast and at The Palace which I have been to many times.
The other thing I cannot wait to see is Watchmen but Priscilla just pips it as my most ancipated thing to see.

Gala Night - as many celebs as they can gather up to get column inches in all the gossip pages.
Expect to see Biggins, Barbara Windsor, Matt Lucas, Big Brother rejects, footballers wives etc.

To avoid confusion it should be called- Gala 'we'll give you a free ticket if you come along and you may get into OK magazine' Night.
I've lived thru many of these and I have great sympathy for theatre staff that night!

On their website and also on many press releases, it is stated that the "Gala" is Tuesday March 24. Has this been changed or are we all going on the wrong night?

Are you a celebrity/reality tv star/WAG? If not then WE are going on the right night!

Earlier in the thread (and I quote):
Mama: Which nigh are you going. The press night or the Gala press night?
exedore:The 25th
Mama: The Gala night!
From that I assumed the Gala was the 25th, but then checked the Priscilla website and it says the 24th. I'd rather see the show without wannabe celebs there and was more checking that we all have tickets for the 25th, and not the Gala?
