What do you think? At first look, I noticed that you could feasibly assume he's dancing as well as killing. And, at first look, keep in mind, I thought the colors and general appearance could be more interesting since there's so much to work with in this story. I'll probably change my mind after spending more time looking at it
Is there a link to the production art you are referring to Jane2?
Here it is.
It looks like a fashion spread. But that's intentional, right? (I've never read/seen any incarnation of this story.)
Thanks ClydeBarrow. I googled American Psycho Musical Production art and all I got were images of a pair of bloodied headphones.
I'm still not seeing a link of any artwork.

I find that happens to me sometimes. But I can see this one.
It's listed under latest headlines with the art.
Here is the BWW link. I'm not sure what that banner on the top is though.
Does no one know how to link?! https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/Official-AMERICAN-PSYCHO-Will-Bow-on-Broadway-in-February-2016-20150714
If you notice on the right hand corner there is some splattering of what I'm assuming is supposed to be blood. I think a red tint added to it would have been a more appropriate color choice for a show about murder.
My takeaway from the image is that he's in the middle of slashing someone to death...

It like American Horror Story meets Fifty Shades
um yes, I know how to link. My mistake assuming folks read the news on the site. I did not include a link because it's right up there in BWW news.
That's really not how the story goes. It's satire on the American businessman and modern society. Nothing glamorous about it.
So far, I like the bleeding headphones the best.
I LOVE the new artwork. Not what I would expect, but surprisingly fresh.
Does anyone notice the "at a Shubert theater to be announced" has now been replaced with "details on exact dates and theater are still unknown."
Maybe be they'll take the Brooks after all.
"Nothing glamorous about it."
I haven't read the book, but did see the film several times. It certainly does project a glamorous, privileged lifestyle. That, juxtaposed against the psychotic element is what makes the horror.
I didn't care for the book.
Loved the movie.
My favorite is the business card.
The plain one, not the one with him standing behind it.
I love it!!
I'm kind of digging the green design. It's immediately reminiscent of something, but I can't quite put my finger on what it reminds me of. Which just makes me appreciate the satirical element. I haven't read the book, but I saw the film. Sadly, I wasn't too impressed and hardly remember anything about it. But everything I've seen about the musical looks like my kind of show. I've a feeling I'm going to love this one.

Yeah, but once it drops down, it won't be as obvious. This thread will last longer than that link will in the list of latest news.
