#1Question about THE SEAGULL...(potential spoiler)

...are there gunshots? I've never read it and I'm seeing it tonight and I can't wait. I just like to prepare myself for the gunshots. They literally almost always make me jump out of my seat.

Thanks in advance!

I haven't seen this production, but as far as I can remember there should be at least one gunshot at the end of the play.

"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"

Yes, but I don't remember it being that jarring.

Lol, even Liza's at the Palace has a gunshot. re: Question about THE SEAGULL...(potential spoiler)

Yes, but it is off-stage and you basically see (or hear in this case) it coming.

There is a gunshot, but (like the poster before me said) it's offstage and therefore kind of muffled. It's not frightening in the least.
