Calling all Raul and Taboo fans,
It's a crime Raul didn't win for best featured actor in a Broadway musical for his amazing performance in Taboo. He really gave an incredible performance and Philip was a great character for him to play.
I'm trying to get Taboo on Broadway released onto DVD because I am a fan of the musical as well as a fan of Raul. Check out the petition, sign it and spread the word about to your friends. If you don't know much about Taboo, there's a description of the story included along with some of the positive reviews it received.

Raul is a huge talent and is going to become a huge star someday; I just know it. He was hilarious in Taboo and was one of the most loved characters.
Thanks!
Linda

I hear that he is all but set to go into 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'. I thought he would have held out for a better gig than that of a fan favorite, since those are the ones he seems to thive in. But it will be good to see him again after his decompression from 'The Normal Heart'.

Why the hell would Raul go into Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?!
That'd be like Raul selling out somehow!
BTW...Raul is already a big star.

I don't like that idea either, Seany!
But what WOULD he do?

Oh boy. The thread is back!!
Scroll up, Seany - he's doing a workshop. He also was organizing some stuff for the New York Musical Theatre Festival... I'm not sure of the details, but he was involved. He's around.

Kelly, you rule! Thanks!
Raul's thread has a long way to go to catch up to Adam's... who's up for the challenge?

I love Adam. But...Raul deserves a much longer thread than his.

Let's do it!
It's going to be hard, though... since Raul isn't currently doing a show that we could talk about.

He was just part of the jury that chose the works to be showcased at the festival.

Thanks, Karen. I knew it was something like that, but I didn't want to post any incorrect information.

Alright!! This shall catch up to Adam's!!
I had this weird dream a few nights ago. I was in this dark room, and the cast of Taboo was dancing around me laughing. And Raul was there as Philip and he started laughing at me going "You're a freak" over and over. It was the strangest thing ever. It was kind of scary, too.
I decided I'm listening to Taboo until the documentary comes out. I haven't listened to anything else in weeks (but I'll make an exception for Aida on the 5th). Raul rocks. I love him.

I listened to Rent for months, Diva, it's all good... when is the DVD due out?
And your dream is kinda frightening. But it involved Raul, so all is not lost.
