I know I'm late but, I just got this CD in anticipation of the upcoming REEFER MADNESS movie musical on ShowTime with Alan Cumming and I love this CD. The opening and orgy songs are awesome. I also love anything that Jesus ends up singing and the song "The Stuff" is just smart, really. The music is a kind of mix between Bat Boy and Jesus Christ Superstar, kinda. with a few affectionate nods to some different kinds of musical styles and some other musicals too including Grease!. it also includes a cut song that I hope they put in the movie because it's a great song and everyone spanks Jimmy. it's just funny as all hell, but intelligent too. THIS is the kind of stuff that should be on Broadway.

Posted: 2/5/05 at 7:33pmI saw the movie today at the Sarasota Film Festival and it is EXCELLENT. I was not familiar with the score at all and was pleasantly surprised. Plus Chistian Campbell was at the screening, with the director and some supporting cast. (Not Amy Spanger though.)
