As of last night she was still listed as the understudy of Patina Miller in Sister Act. Her last day with the show should be very soon, since rehersals for Rent are right around the corner.

Anyone else find it weird that the show starts previews this week, and yet no production photos have been posted yet?

Also, given the nature of the show, I'm surprised we also haven't been inundated with backstage videos, sponsored by Flip®.

Lizzie, they said it is going to be a new production with a new set. I am betting that we are not seeing anything because they may not want to reveal anything until after it opens.

I love Rent, it was the first Broadway show I ever saw, but is anyone actually excited for the revival? It'll be nice to check it out next time I'm in the city but I think this is a strong case of too soon to be revived. I just feel like there are plenty of other shows playing right now that deserve some attention, and plenty more revivals that are due.

It's like I never got the chance to fully miss the show and here it is back to be revived Off Bway. If that was the case why didnt they go the Ave Q or the MDQ route and just transfered it to an Off Bway house. It doesnt seem like many are even excited for the return. This cast also doesnt have me running to see it.. We shall see how it turns out.

Initially I was weary about this revival. I have tickets and as it draws nearer I am getting a bit more excited. I just think it's too soon.
