RENT screenplay with Jonathan Larson as a Character?

I came across a draft of the RENT screenplay that is copyrighted from 2004 and by a guy named Glenn Ripps. It's utterly crazy. Jonathan Larson was intended to be a Character in it and his life was to intertwine with with characters.

I have the script if you PM me, but does anyone have any more info on it?

I thought the characters were based on him and his friends? Sorry if I'm wrong. Also, I thought Mark was based on him?

This draft seemed to be trying to marry tick tick.. BOOM and RENT. Jonathan and his friend Michael are both characters in it.

A simple IMDB search for this writer will suggest that there is no way this was being seriously considered, if it was even distributed amongst studio personnel.
