I'm getting the same message when I try to save it, saying I have to buy an upgrade to my player...

I just came back from the matinee and agree with your assessment on the entire cast.
I also want to add in that the ensemble is great! Ann Harada, Maia Mkenge Wilson, Van Hughes, etc. they are all amazing! I always wish they have an Outstanding Ensemble category at the Tonys, and if they did 9to5 would win it this year!

I am hearing great things on how they changed the hospital scene! It was probably my least favorite scene, and now I'm told it has one of the funnier Judy/Violet moments in the show =)
Great review! I completely agree that this show is one of the funnest times I've had in the theater in awhile!
:SPOILER:
The hospital scene was really funny! Violet dresses up as a doctor and steals what she thinks is Hart's dead body. She runs around the hospital like a crazy woman. Funny stuff.

Honey,
Have you sen the movie? Same thing happens there.
It's actually the exchange the two have between them (and another nurse/doctor?) right before they exit the scene that I was referring to.
The "I'm a doctor? I'm a doctor. Why the hell am I talking to you, PISS OFF!"? That's in the movie too.
TimeSquare3, I believe Popular is referring to Judy's "Healing was her LIFE!" line that is part of that scene in the stage version.
After seeing the whole show last night, I second acted again tonight after God of Carnage. I really think this show is excellent and is strong all around.

Okay, love that they're adding new stuff, even smaller stuff like this.
By any chance did anyone get a pic of the curtain?
maybe.... its nothing to awe over
This is a BroadwaySecret, but this is basically curtain call:

I've never seen the film, actually. So, I apologize if that was common knowledge. I wanted to go in with a fresh mind, sans the film and such.

Saw the second preview. No doubt about it, this show is deliriously fun! Probably the next 'Hairspray'-type hit musical comedy, which we don't have many of this season!
A few questions:
-Are the tracks on the website a demo or the cast recording? They sound fantastic!
-Who's the cute blond boy who does most of the 'speciality' dancing? He's always front and center, dances on during transitions, kinda like Spencer Liff was in 'Cry-Baby'?
Thanks in advance.

Also, I really liked the curtain. I thought it was really cool.
I saw the show via rush yesterday matinee and ended up in Row H on the right. It was a pretty good seat, I would like to see it from the center or full view next time. I didn't get to appreciate the sets and I could only see about 30% of the screen in the back.
I enjoyed the show, it's lots of fun! I didn't love the music, some of it just wasn't catchy enough for me. It's very Dolly but it has a pinch of Broadway in it. I think I enjoyed the book more than the music. I will just tell those who haven't seen it, you have heard the best songs. The songs in the videos and on the site are the best songs by far.
I loved the choreography. I wish there was more room for choreography in this show. You can tell Andy Blankenbuehler choreographed this, he is great at making simple walking steps interesting. I would love to see him direct something at some point. His work for In The Heights was incredible and this is great too. I think Billy Elliot obviously has the Choreography Tony but this is very close.
Allison Janney is incredible! I think she is hilarious and you hardly notice her lack of a voice, her acting makes up for it. I want her to win the Tony but Alice Ripley will probably get it. I would actually love to see Josefina get it but that will not happen.
Megan Hilty will have a good future after this. She is great in this. Her voice is great and so is her acting. Although I think her accent was a little to squeaky and high, it needs to be toned down a bit. I would like see her nominated for a Tony but I don't think she will win.
Stephanie J. Block is also great. Her voice is killer! I don't know how she can sing like that. She will also be nominated but I am still going for Karen Olivo. It is close but I think Karen deserves it.
The show will go far and will be a hit. The theater was full and I think it continue to fill up. It is definitely the next Hairspray. I hope that after the cast leaves they can still hold up, it's a very cast heavy show. The cast shines bright and will need good replacements.
