Reasons for weird pricing?

This isn't the first time I've been perplexed by something like this, but I'm finally compelled to ask: Having had my Thursday matinee performance of BOOP! cancelled, I'm looking at other options and noticed that center-mezz row E is selling for $114, even though rows D and F are $139, as are the left and right sections of E.
So why the $25 drop for those center seats? Is there possibly some bank of lights hanging right above that are obstructive? Any answers (or guesses) much appreciated.

It's very possible that there was a pricing glitch where seats through E should be $139, and F starts at $114.
But this is also the nature of variable pricing. They're trying to fill every seat and it might be a sneaky test of price-sensitivity. People sitting beside each other or in nearly-identical seats are often paying very different prices.

Oh, I know. It''s crazy. I typically try to sit one row back from where ticket holders paid anywhere from c. $50-$100 more.
But this particular arrangement is odder than that. I can't remember which other recent show it was, might have been Mincemeat, but there was similar odd pricing in one particular row, with everything surrounding it costing upwards of $30-$40 more.
Guess I could try to call the box office and ask, though I'd be shocked to get an actual person.

Do not bother the box office. Call Telecharge if you must speak with someone. Or better yet, just leave the matter alone.
The "why" is meaningless, and you as a customer aren't owed any justification for why certain seats are priced a certain way. (and, given variable pricing, those seats might have a different rate 10 days from now)
Good chance someone from Shubert or the producing/GM team has already seen your post on here and will remedy if there's actually a glitch.

I raise your crazy by another $10...So using promo code boopmania I see center mezz B & C for $129, cheaper than D at $139 but the oddity that really got me was front row center mezz on 4/30 at 2pm was $124 cheaper than B, C, and D. With the promo code good center orchestra seats are $129 too.

I am never rude to anyone on these boards and it's beyond me why you chose to be so snarky in your response. I couldn't care less if it's merely a pricing issue. I'll happily take advantage. And in no way was I suggesting that I needed an explanation for the pricing itself.
My only concern had to do with whether there are lights, perhaps, mounted in a way that causes a minor obstruction in the sight lines for that specific row and section. That's something the box office and not Telecharge would know, not that I've "bothered" either of them.
I fully expect you'll judge my question/concern as stupid. If you can't resist the urge to tell me off, go ahead. I won't engage any further. That's not why I'm here.

Honestly a lot of the software is old and it’s likely just a mistake someone made when inputting the pricing. I went to the box office at Hell’s Kitchen once and asked if there was a reason 2 seats were significantly cheaper than those around them and the worker said, “well they’re not supposed to be, but you caught it so it’s your lucky day!” And he honored the price.
