What's with Diana's mottled arm in the above pic?

Bert La Bonte is going to be the only decent thing about the Melbourne production. I'm embarrassed in advance of the mess MTC makes of it. Directed by Dean Bryant whose recent restaging of his own work Prodigal was a hot mess.

Sigh.

^ Interesting. I would imagine the model is to scale of the actual theater. It looks like the way the building is designed, there's TOO much space between the edge of the stage and the where the actual set is, though. Would be ideal if the portion in front of the lighting trees was on a hydraulic lift and could be lowered to accommodate more seating.

I imagine 4 those panels will slide on and off to create different locations/spaces.

It really doesn't matter what anyone here thinks of the artwork or casting. This isn't a commercial venture. It is part of a short subscription season for a resident theatre company. As rosscoe said earlier is is practically sold out already.

The photos aren't a next to normal thing, they're a Melbourne Theatre Company thing.

All promo photos of this year's season look pretty tragic. The photography department must have been raped by the budget...
