Rent DVD - Does anyone have OFFICIAL word That Halloween, Goodbye Love and the filmed Contact will be in the DVD- Page 2

Wow...guys, sorry for the lack of response. I haven't checked the board for a while. I swear, I saw them in the movie! It wasn't a screening either...it was exactly a week after it was released. I saw it at the Essex Outlet Cinema here in Vermont. It went from Angel's funeral, and I remember seeing Mark and Roger arguing on the rooftop afterwards, before Roger leaves for Santa Fe. I also remember seeing a scene of Mark puting together his documentary, singing "Halloween", and then the second time I saw the movie (at another theater) Angel's funeral scene went directly into "What You Own" and I was like, "That was abrupt and not right...there's footage missing here..."

Now I'm weirded out. I will try to do research on this to see if I can come up with an explaination as to why they showed the movie with those songs...if I find answers I will share with you all. This is very strange...

I think that Columbus should put the deleted scenes back in the movie using Infinifilm. That way the viewers can decide if they want the deleted scenes in the movie. I think thats how it worked anyway, the last infinifilm movie I saw was The Butterfly Effect and I'm pretty sure that you had the option to chose whether you wanted to extra scenes in there or not.

Mark and Roger were arguing on a rooftop?! Doesn't this whole sequence take place directly after Angel's funeral in the cemetery. If in fact they do cut to a rooftop it doesn't make much sense as Mimi is supposed to be overhearing this argument and then singing her part of "Goodbye Love" to Roger. Why would this even take place on a rooftop? That doesn't make sense at all.

I think there's a clip in the trailer that I didn't recognize, and I thought it might be from Goodbye Love. There's a screencap floating around of Roger on his way out the door, and Mark in the background; Mimi is just coming in. Perhaps the argument *starts* on the rooftop and ends in the loft, and Mimi overhears what she does when she's on her way in, coming to say goodbye to Roger. He says in the cemetary that he's "leaving now for Santa Fe," so she knows he's leaving. Then she says "I just came to say goodbye, love..." So it looks like she does overhear, and walks into Roger just as he's leaving the loft.

But that would be weird, because Benny is in Goodbye Love. Why would he be going to their apartment? Unless he's with Mimi, but I don't think he'd go with her to say goodbye to Roger. *shrug*

Maybe he comes up, too; I mean, he's constantly with Mimi at the funeral, so maybe he follows her up to the loft. He doesn't want her seeing Roger, remember?

well I really hope that they put the video blogs on the DVD and they include something for contact..anything more besides that would be wonderful.

What I would love to see besides the deleted scenes is the video blogs, outakes, and maybe the outside Preformances such as the Bryant Park and Today Show preformances

What i read in a draft of the script the second half of Goodbye Love takes place in the apartment. Roger storms in and starts packing and Mark follows, they fight and Mimi is outside the door listening to the fight and then comes in and sings "Goodbye Love", and then I believe Benny enters and the whole rehab dialogue.
