I wonder if the columnist watched Light My Candle through Tango: Maureen. Early word is that those scenes were really, really good, and they have been screened for press...

re: Rent Picture in Rolling Stone

yay for a new pic!

Agreed, ZZ, and I'm very happy about it. The show is such an ensemble show that it's nice to see advertising is not one-sided.

Yet in the article there was still no mention of Tracie Thoms. I'm happy at least she got mentioned in the caption. Seriously, she is like never mentioned.

Edit: Yeah, kind of sad Tracie isn't mentioned in the article.

re: Rent Picture in Rolling Stone

Why does Rosario Dawson keep getting listed fiirst? I'd never even heard of her until this film. If anyone should be listed first, it should be Anthony Rapp, since he has the most to do in the show/movie.

re: Rent Picture in Rolling Stone

I have that pic on my wall although its only like 4" by 4" as well as the producers pic next to it of the movie even though thats smaller than the rent one

re: Rent Picture in Rolling Stone

Rosario is always mentioned first becuase her name is the biggest draw for non theatre goers. look her up:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0206257/

To you she is not the number one draw, but she was in two big budget films last year- sin city and alexander.

If you want joe shmoe from the street to see this film, you can't tell him that it is starring Idina Menzel. it's not going to work.

Kristin Chenoweth could barely control a Great Dane she trotted onto the stage. "Great, they gave me a dog that weighs five times what I do", she quipped. For the record, she weighs 93 pounds, and has a Maltese.
