Rent cast?

Do we have any Idea who will be in the RENT cast of the revival that is set to open in June?
Maybe Adam and Anthony will come back to reprise there roles as Mark and Roger

It has been stated that this cast will consist of unknowns, just as it was back in '96.

Im wondering if They'll bring back A & A or any of the other OBC members for a limited run with the show at some point
I'd love to see Jessie as Collins (since Ive never seen him)

I dont think they will...as others said...it's going to be unknowns most likely. Besides, both Adam and Anthony have returned to the show a bazillion times...why should they again?

There wouldn't be enough $$ made at New World to bring any of the originals back. This is going to be a lean show.

Adam and Anthony both said that the most recent tour would be the last time they'd be reprising the roles, but I can see them coming back eventually (They always do). :)

I think they should have a few nights where the whole OBC comes back to do the show again

The original cast did one performance to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary back in 2006, but I really don't see that happening again.

It wouldn't surprise me if they casted a few non equity Rent cast members from those previous tours.
If thats the case Andy Meeks and Dan Rosenbaum are high on my list! One can dream.. right?

I'm glad it will be unknowns. I saw Adam and Anthony when they toured with the show and the show just needs new people.

And unless there is anyone "big" in the show...it is WAAAAY too early for a casting announcement. OFTEN that correlates to the begining of rehearsals, so don't expect to hear before mid to late April.

They made a big deal that there WERE NOT going to get any big names. They want a fresh cast who are the actual ages of the characters.
