No mention of the diaper.

It was more of a skirt. It definitely had more fabric than Donny Osmond's diaper. Oklahoma is a conservative state, I guess, lol.
Saw it this afernoon. It was fun. Not ground-breaking or even wonderful, but I enjoyed it.
(Pssst... If you would like some audio of it and would like to trade, pm me..)
Does the Lyric Theatre not take publicity photos? I haven't seen any.
From the video clip/interview of Diana and Anthony in that first link, they sound pretty good actually.
Oh, gosh, they were great. I would just do away with the terrible quality of the sound system and the chorus of EIGHTY-FIVE kids, whose parents paid for their moment to sit on the stage and listen to the story, pretty much. Lame.

I've seen 5 out of 6 shows (except for the opening night) and did not notice any sound problems. MuppetMania, did you see it on the opening night ? Or maybe you were sitting in a bad spot ?
I enjoyed the show tremendously. I've never seen it before so have nothing to compare it to, but, oh boy, to me it ranks up there with "Billy Elliot" and "The Producers" (go ahead and shoot me now). It was such a professional production - everything was great, costumes, music, actors. I even enjoyed the kids in the show.
And Anthony and Diana - what can I say ? I flew in from NYC to see Anthony and he was great. But, having never seen Diana, I came away very impressed with her voice and can't wait to see her in Toxic Avenger, where she can display more of her acting chops.

It WAS a great play, Anthony and Diana were wonderful, and the cast was very entertaining and professional.I think you are way wrong about the children tho.The cast of children come from a very good teaching camp that prepares them very well for what they do....singing and acting. The children were all very acomplished and confident and gave the play a playful aura. They enlivened an already lively performance, and I believe they were a great asset to "Joseph".I kept my ears open for any comments about the show... and frankly, heard NOTHING negative about anything to do with this show....only genuine raves and enjoyment.I hope if the director takes this show to other venues, that he doesnt change a thing....nor any of the extremely fine cast....all of them.

I will go with the opinion that it was a great show. I heard they had standing ovations for every show. It was either the audience was starved for a show or it was really really good . I'll go with the latter since the theater in Oklahoma is very good with good training and support (see the articles on BWW.)
"It WAS a great play"
What was? Last time I checked "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" was a musical.

Anthony Fedorov will reprise the role of Joseph in the 5th Ave. Theatre in Seattle in October:

I despise Anthony Federov, but the 5th Avenue's logo art for their production of "Joseph" is absolutley beautiful and classy. Why don't major Broadway productions have such good art directors? Also love their art for "Candide".
threadjack, sorry.
