Thanks everyone for posting your pics. Do you think BWW will put up a video from the final performance, similar to the one from Hairspray?

I know right! lol
I'm pretty sure no one in the orch did that! we were rockin'!
you walk up all the stairs to the balcony and then only able see so far down stage and then well talk
Well, then don't sit in the balcony at the St. James again. I know that when you buy tickets online there's even a note saying there are no elevators.
Still sad that they did not tape this.... oh well. Great review!

The ovation would have been longer if a fiew people did not yell out crazy crap. The look on Patti's face after "Patti for president" kind of stopped the ovation.
^That was the point. By that time the ovation had gone on long enough, and she was gesturing for the applause to stop, so she and Laura could continue.
Someone asked for stage door pics after the last show.
Here's Patti:
And Boyd Gaines:
i know that now hahahah the look on her face after they said patti for president was so funny even when she gestured them to stop they wouldnt....does anyone know what is going in there now that gyspy is over. i know they do the grinch in there during the winter but till that starts what are they going to do there
They don't do the Grinch there. They did the Grinch once at the Hilton and once at the St. James.
Thanks so much to all those of you who posted pictures on here from the final performance...particularly the ones from the curtain call (I had such tall people in front of me that I couldn't see most of the curtain call during the standing ovation)! Does anyone have any pictures of the party the cast had after the show at Angus McEndoe's? I was hoping Broadwayworld would cover it but the pics have yet to appear.
I don't think BWW covered it because it wasn't the official closing party - that was held the previous Thursday.
"Patti's classic one-liners, including 'NO EGGROLL!' and 'Hunny, UHH can I please have a spoon to stir the tea!?' "
I hope you don't think that the latter was her invention. (I also hope you don't think that's the way honey is spelled.)
Where did she say "NO EGGROLL!"?
Rose says, "You all will love it, it's a new act.
One of the farmboys replies with, "That ain't a dream, that's a miracle.
And that's when she says, "NO EGGROLL."

She says No Eggroll during Louise's birthday after one of the boys says something about the act I think.
Thanks! She did do that when I saw it but I'd forgotten.

I’m not sure what you mean by her invention, but I just loved her delivery of that particular line. The “UHH” sound was hysterical. And she was referring to the waitress as honey (hunnie, hunny, whatever ) so.. yeah.
And the way she said, "No eggroll!" - I loved how she paused for a long time and slowly turned her head towards him before saying it. Classic!
Anyone have any more pictures from the stage door to share? Mine came out horrible... I was in the back and every time I tried to take a picture someone got in my way or the actor was looking down or something, lol.

It sounded like you thought she wrote the line. "Patti's classic one-liners . . ." Just wanted to clarify that she didn't.
Ah, surely SOMEBODY must have some of those Angus McEndoe's party pics, whether that was the official party or not. It would be fun to see them. I'd love to see more stage door pictures from the last performance, too, as one of you also said.
