I doubt they would bring this show in to compete with Frozen and the Harry Potter Play Acts 1& 2 in the same season...

Why wouldn't they do that, brdwybound?? The shows' key demographics couldn't be MORE different!

True about demographics, but Broadway is also about Tonys and politics...
So no shows will be coming in because of Frozen and Harry Potter? Okay, totally makes sense.
Seeing how a first draft isn't even written yet, wouldn't the 2018 season be a pretty fast track to Broadway?

Yes, except that for EJ a first draft is not far from a final draft, and PR is not exactly known as a Neil Simon type. I think you are right, especially considering that Rudnick has no idea what he's doing when writing lyrics, but the question is how firmly the producer keeps his hand on the tiller.
Welll, we have Mean Girls coming in, and I'd imagine Frozen and Mean Girls are kind of the same demo?

Is it, though?
If it came in the 2018-2019 season would it be competing against Frozen? I thought Frozen is coming in the 2017-2018 season.

Yes, I'm sure there are scores of parents looking to take their 8 year old daughters to Mean Girls.
