Robert Petkoff, who recently appeared as Buddy in Chicago Shakespeare's FOLLIES, and also appeared in Broadway's RAGTIME and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, slips into the tweed of British Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, a love interest for Sutton Foster's brassy Reno Sweeney, in Broadway's ANYTHING GOES starting Jan. 13. He succeeds original star Adam Godley, who was Tony Award-nominated for his work in the shipboard musical comedy
Playbill: Robert Petkoff in ANYTHING GOES
We got tickets when we heard he was starting tonight. Can't wait to see the second act number with he and Sutton!
He's going to be so great! I would love to see him.
can't wait to see him with Tari on Sunday!!!
Am going to see this next week - looking forward to seeing him and Sutton dance together!
We saw him perform tonight and he brought the house down. Adam, who had played the role before, was in the house and reportedly went backstage to congratulate him. At the curtain call, Joel Grey went up to him and shook his hand. Petkoff was funny, sexy, poignant and who knew that he could dance so well! He and Sutton Foster were fabulous together. The whole show was ran so well tonight, the pacing was fabulous and the whole vibe in the house was that we were all seeing a once in a lifetime experience. Fabulous!

Was up in the mezz tonight. I had no idea it was his first show, and I guess that's to his credit.
He was in the playbill I got from the January 11th performance, but there was a note saying « the role of Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, usually played by Robert Petkoff, will be played by Mark Ledbetter ».
Don't know what happened... was he supposed to start before January 11th?
Godley was fantastic, but i'd love to see Petkoff's 'Gypsy in Me'
From what I understand, Mark Ledbetter was the cover for Adam and filled in for the role until Petkoff was contracted to start performing Jan 13th.
Godley's apparently been out of the show since early Dec.
