I was just over on wikipedia, and I do realize that it can't always be trusted, but the site had posted the new US Tour Cast for Rock of Ages:

Drew: Constantine Maroulis

Sherrie: Bailey Hanks

Stacee Jaxx/Sherrie's Father: Cheyenne Jackson

Dennis/Record Company Man: Richard H. Blake

Lonny/Record Company Man: Andrew Rannells

Franz: Nathan Kress

Justice/Sherrie's Mother: Leslie Kritzer

Regina/Candi: Gretchen Bieber

Hertz: Ashley Parker Angel

I'm not believing a word of this until we get some actual conformation, but I found it very interesting. Especially Nathan Kress as Franz?! Who would've thought the kid from iCarly could sing?

Um...not gonna happen. Not even close. The tour couldn't afford all of those performers.

^ Me too, but I'm positive he won't do the tour. He's attached to "Give it Up" which has hopes of an Off-Broadway or Broadway run this fall, from what I've heard. Lead role in a new musical vs. minor role in a touring production... which one do you think he'd pick? :P

They haven't even had agent appointments for the tour yet. And the majority of these people would never even go on tour, especially, for the $732/week the producers are paying!

Denver center Attractions just announced it's its 2011 season and Constantine is listed as being on the tour.

The Buell is a huge theater. They put new seating in with cup holders. Thank goodness I will most likely be attending opening night where the crowd will be mostly press, employees, etc.

dontevenstart - you're a little off on your facts. The base salary on the tour starts at $835.

And agent appointments were in May. I was in callbacks until the end of the month. Calls went out shortly after that.

But yes, there's some dream casting there.
