Has anyone tried it since it moved to the Helen Hayes? I am gonna try this Saturday evening and was wondering if I stand a chance.

Now that it's at the Hayes lotto info has changed a bit

There are partial views at the HH? Good lord. I thought one of the reasons for the move was no partial view seats, which was a huge problem at the BA.

Somehow the HH has the same problem the BAT had. If you're on the side of the orchestra you can't see half the stage.

went last wednesday and did the lotto.
not many people entered their names- wasn't much of a crowd at all.

this is gonna sound pathetic.
but i went to the lotto--but didn't stay for the names because i decided not to do it last minute. there couldn't have been more than 10 people gathered waiting.

I wish the ticket price was still 26.50. The lottos are getting to be expensive!

Yeah, no one has been at the ROA lottos lately, party because of the price, and also likely because they NEVER ANNOUNCED IT.

I think they're switching to a rush, if they haven't already.

According to their site, they now have a student rush, with the price back down:

"There are student rush tickets for $27 available for same-day performances when the box office opens. These tickets are subject to availability and you must show student ID. Only two tickets per student ID. Cash only. All sales are final — no refunds or exchanges. Certain blackout dates may apply. Offer may be revoked or modified at any time without notice."

No mention of the lottery, they may have cut it?

Yes, they ceased with the lottery this past Sunday.
