Of course I did. Bought them both the day they came out. It doesn't mean it hasn't been obvious for decades that if he's involved in a project, it will be a flop. (The albums didn't sell either).

Oh, I know. He really couldn't sing. But that was when I was at the peak of my RHPS phase, and all of us shadow actors lined up for each concert.

I would adore to see this revived. Although as it's been said, I'm not sure if Broadway is the best place for Rocky to live - I think it should be staged in a much more intimate setting like an old movie theatre where it was originally done. But with the right director...

I personally would be interested if at some point Shock Treatment was staged (not on Broadway of course) but I always thought it was silly they never did - the movie takes place in a unit set, and with the right script doctor, it could work.

i.e Barry not wanting to talk about Rocky Horror, after the gypsy of the year edition he did (the one before last) I got him to sign my RHPS blu-ray he was very nice and happy to sign it and personalized it with a message and everything.

Meat Loaf seems to still be proud of the show. He still sings "Hot Patootie" in some of his concerts and has more than once relayed the story of how he met Elvis after a performance of the show in L.A.

Billie Joe could do a serviceable Frank, I'd think. Riff is a fun and showy part, but in terms of actual role size, I doubt that a temperamental international superstar is going to take a supporting role in a show he didn't write himself.

^Good point. I actually really wouldn't mind seeing him as Frank. Maybe Ben Walker as Frank for OBC and Billie if they need to stunt cast? GAAAHHHH I'm getting chills just thinking about it!!

I've always thought that the role to stunt cast, that no one ever stunt casts, is Eddie. One song cameo, gets murdered, out. And it's not a particularly hard song- just have it available in a whole bunch of keys and see who you can get week to week.

Make it a thing, like the surprise celebrity cameo every night in "Fame Becomes Me."
