I was actually just thinking about this today while listening to Les Miz. That said...
-Jean Valjean in LES MIZ -Judas in JCS (would love to sing "Heaven on Their Minds") -The Leading Player in PIPPIN (Technically this could be a female role, but it's not usually. I recently got a callback for this, but lost the role to a guy - he was great by the way - so until I get it, it's on my list!) -Riff in WEST SIDE STORY -The Emcee in CABARET -Seaweed in HAIRSPRAY -Mr. Mistoffoles in CATS
King Arthur in "Camelot" Most of the male roles in "Spamalot" Judas in "JCS" Mr. Mephistofeles in "Cats" Pseudolus in "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum" Phantom in "POTO" Jean Valjean in "Les Miserables" Most roles from "1776"
I reserve the right to add to this, since I'm at work and am not thinking clearly!!!
HeyMrMusic - good choice. Anita was my favorite role ever!
Magdelene - I've actually seen Pseudolus played by a woman. It took me a few minutes to get used to it, but she worked it and it worked somehow...don't know how, but it did.

Don't give me too much credit. I was the understudy for Anita (I was really supposed to be Rosalia). But the regular Anita hurt her leg and I took the remainder of the run...but it was still my favorite role ever... :) Updated On: 11/16/05 at 03:02 PM

I know there are a lot what can I say I love male roles!
To everyone who said Judas would be the role they would want to play...in my high school's production in 2000 a girl played Judas (this was also the production where Mary Magdalene was dressed in a black patent leather dress most of the time).
For me, however, the roles would be:
Fabrizio - LITP Enjolras - Les Mis Jimmy - Millie Emcee - Cabaret
Sponsor me as I walk the Philadelphia AIDS Walk - Sunday, October 16, 2011. Many of our friends, family and neighbors are in desperate need of health care services and other life-saving programs, but with cutbacks in government dollars , these programs are often under-funded. Now, more than ever, your donations are needed to support organizations providing HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention education, counseling and testing and care services for people living with HIV/AIDS.
