I haven't heard any of SitP, but I can agree that Norm in anything would be fantastic! I'm not completely sure if he has the right range for the part of Chauvelin in The Scarlet Pimpernel, but I think he'd do a great cover of "Falcon in the Dive" or "Where's the Girl".

*Julia Murney: Mama Rose Lee in Gypsy(when she get's a little older)
*Cheyenne Jackson: Gaston in B&B (I second that! He looks just like the character)
*Sutton Foster: Sally Bowles in Cabaret
*Jesse L. Martin: The Plant (LSOH), Memphis in The Life, and Curtis in Dreamgirls (this man needs to come back to Broadway)
*Kerry Butler: Susan/other female characters in tick, tick, boom! and Kate Monster/Lucy the Slut in Avenue Q
*Kristen Bell: Maureen in RENT or Elle Woods in Legally Blonde
*Norbert Leo Butz: Rooster in Annie, Iago in Othello, Leo in Parade, and the Balladeer in Assassins

Even though they've both done the roles before, I'd love to see Laura Bell Bundy as June and Laura Benanti as Louise in the same production of GYPSY :)

Kristen Bell in pretty much anything, but I think she would make a great Audrey in Little Shop, Amber in Hairspray, or Holly in Wedding Singer.

I never got that. Didn't she end up on Broadway about a year after that anyways? Was that after her Oscar nomination?
I always thought she'd make a fierce Sally Bowles, after the WILD PARTY fiasco I doubt she'd be interested in being part of the proposed revival of the revival.

I second these, for sure! There really are a lot of great casting ideas through out the whole thread.
I also have a new idea (although I don't know how accurate it is because I really haven't heard a lot of his singing)! Raymond McLeod sounds like a Mr. Rochester to me.
