Maybe she'll bring Broadway to THE VIEW like she did with her other show.

I love Rosie! Welcome back.
This is exciting News.
I hope she can throw her weight around and get B'Way and Off B'way segments and New York Theatre People on this show instead of guests who discuss the best shoes to wear in July!
Go Rosie!

Kind of exciting. It will be interesting to see how she gels with the others. She doesn't seem to be as 'girly' as the others, ya know? Or talk about her sex life like everyone else.
I can't wait to see how she gives star the 2nd degree. Finally a host that will shut that witches trap.
Oy vey. Will this woman ever go away?
Rosie and Joy Behar. That is appointment television! Broadway back on television, along with television most-beloved personalities not at her honest, funny peak. And to have the always classic Joy by her side, I have to start watching again!
(Maybe she can finally get Star to admit how she lost all that wait.)
Only wish it would be them and Meredith!
Do we think She will sit on that Skinny Republican Blonde girl?
LOL Elizabeth.
To quote Romy and Michele's "This oughta be soooo good."
Imagine if they fired all the current view people and hired
Joan Rivers,Lisa Lampinelli,Richard Simmons and Kathy Lee Gifford
no to Kathy. but the rest- thats good tv!!

Oh, I'll be watching. The View usually has some Broadway people on there. They had Euan Morton and Wicked if I remember well. And the had the girl from Color Purple. Rene something...
*applause* She's been missed.

C'mon Rosie - I want to see some ACL take a little time to enjoy The View.
This seems like a bold move for O'Donnell. A woman who had the world in her palm for 6 seasons as a solo act. It will be interesting to see how Babara will get a word in now! She seems to wear the pants at that table. I love Rosie ...so this is an odd pairing, but hey, maybe they'll win some Emmy's. Watch out Ellen....ka!
Wow, Rosie & Joy on the same show??? Star's days have to be numbered.

What occurs to me is that congratulations are in order for ROB. If this isn't being officially announced until tomorrow's broadcast, then this amounts to a 'scoop' - and further evidence that we are lucky to have this site, no matter how some of us abuse it.
Thanks, Rob - and good for you!
Lisa Lampanelli is one of my goddesses.
This is AMAZING! Finally, "THE VIEW" will not be "THE Straight Stupid Middle-Aged Superficial Housewife's VIEW".
It's about damn time! Did anyone read what Rosie had to say about Star Jones in the recent New York Magazine article about Rosie? They were not kind words. WOOHOO! I finally have a reason to turn the TV back on. Can't wait!

My thoughts exactly as much as i like the idea of seeing more Broadway stuff on TV aside from PBS its just not worth it if Rosie's tied to it (I used to be a fan but since her old show ended I've moved on_

I was at THE VIEW on Monday in the first row with my mom. We had a great time. Rosie will add a lot to that show. P.S. Star Jones is gross looking after all that work. She was better as a fatty!
Bad move. The show is losing balance, they will all be loud and opinionated. Joy will now be the quiet one. The days of this show must be numbered. Updated On: 4/28/06 at 02:46 AM
I don't agree with that.
While Viera is the highlight of the show, and even started overshadowing Walters, the show has a lot of heart and life still in it.
While Hasselback needs a bullet in her head and Jones needs to just throw herself off of her balcony, I am delighted to hear that Rosie will once again be on TV every morning.
How I miss the days when I would fake being sick so I could stay home from school at watch THE ROSIE O'DONNELL show. Happy days are, indeed, here again.
