I belive that if Rosie was given the chance to host the Tony's again she would do it. I have remember hearing her say "if they asked me..."

Oh that would be awesome, she'd probably have the same people perform again because those are like her all-time favs...maybe she'll have Lea Salonga perform

I think thay should just ask her since she's for sure gonna bring in more ratings than ever before with all this controversey from The View. Since CBS is hell bent to get ratings I think they should just ask her.

plus a little bit of me feels that if she hosts that might help Spring Awakenings chances b/c she's in love with the show but that's me being an idiot and wishful thinking

Hrmm I dunno I think Rosie had her chance--I love her but... I just found 3 video tapes I made as an obssessive teen of Broadway clips from her old talk show--lotsa great performances from everything from Titanic to Parade to Swing nad Seussical and oddities like the men of Fosse doing a brilliant "Fosse-ized" version of the Bye Bye Birdie song Rosie for her bday. I hope she keeps getting more and more stars on The View

I really hope it's NOT Rosie. I used to be a fan, but no more. While I acknowledge the good she does for Broadway by promoting shows, her politics and hyperbole have alienated me. I'd much rather see them ask Angela Lansbury.

The TONYs will be hosted by Jack Black this year.

And Beyonce will be featured in every musical performance on the telecast.

He and his fellow Tenacious D band member, Kyle, will be performing the opening number together.

I hear it's a Judy Garland medley.

I honestly don't think he's be too bad in a short stint in something like THE PRODUCERS or SPAMALOT. Something tongue-in-cheek like that.

But, I'm doubtful he'd ever replace anyone.

I couldn't help seeing him in DRS the entire show. I felt like Butz was doing an impression of him. I think he'd be killer in that role.
