Roundabout just announced a 4 week extension, having the show run until July 10. June 12 was the original closing date. Their advance must be good. Very happy to see this show get an extension. Hopefully they can extend it again through the end of the summer.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
How flexible is roundabout with ticket purchases? I have tickets for what was supposed to be the last Saturday night show (which I JUST bought yesterday) but I don't think we will actually fly in until Saturday and that always makes me nervous. Now that they've extended I'd rather go a few days later. (I already have Hamilton tickets for Tony Tuesday by it would also be fun to go shortly after the Tonys if they score any wins.) If it were telecharge I would definitely call because they're usually as helpful as a particular show will allow but if it were ticketmaster I would definitely not bother because I've never had them do anything other than put me on hold for a century and then say the policy is no exchanges. Any thoughts on roundabout?
Or maybe it's better to see it the night BEFORE the Tonys instead of a few days after? I'd imagine the whole cast will be in assuming no illnesses. Any thoughts on that?
Awesome news! My mom is visiting in late June and I wanted to take her to see this but couldn't since it originally ended earlier that month. So happy now!
Does anyone know what the chances are for an even further extension? Does Roundabout have anything else coming in to that theater? I want to buy hiptix for their closing performance, but I'd hate to book it and then have them further extend. Thoughts?
If the show does extend further, it'll be without Zachary Levi. He has family obligations on the West Coast. He would be willing to return at some point, though.
I know this has been discussed and it seems not very likely, but I wonder if Roundabout will reconsider recording an album. I'd love to have a recording with the current cast.
"Mr Sondheim, look: I made a hat, where there never was a hat, it's a Latin hat at that!"

Like I said, GoFund/Kickstarter that up if it came down to it. This production deserves an album.

Go on the 11th! Should be a special night before the TONY Awards"
Roundabout hasn't announced their full next season yet, but it generally starts up in the fall (sept/oct). So I would guess a mid August closing is the latest this production would extend to. But given the caliber of this cast, I would suspect many of the leads will have booked other work for after this planned extension. So I wouldn't count on it extending further. Impossible? no. But not likely.

I would absolutely contribute to this gofundme/kickstarter!

I had tickets to She Loves Me for February and was sick that day and couldn't go. Roundabout allowed me to post-date the tickets as general admission at a later date. You need to call that morning when the staff gets in, and the rep will tell you if there are GA spots available for that day's performance. It took me a couple of tries to get in, but I did get in for a Saturday night, and our seats in the orchestra were actually better than the mezzanine seats I had purchased. You have to stand in the back of the theater until everyone is seated and the ushers will see which seats are free.
I also hope this is the first of possibly several extensions. Nothing is booked at Studio 54 after this, so it all really depends on the leads & if they're not available for a further extension if Roundabout wants to replace them.

Thanks MacNYC and limelight Mike. I am not to keen on post dating due to the uncertainty of it, and based on limelight mike's comments I think I'll sit tight on the 11th. If something happens to our flight, I can go with the post dating option. Thanks!!

Chi - I have found Roundabout to be exceptionally helpful when I have had ticket issues. My experiences have all worked out beautifully and I think they treat each situation on a case by case basis. If I were you, I would call immediately and explain your situation.
They may be happy to exchange your tickets for a different day, especially if you are returning tickets for a day with limited availability and choosing a show during the extended period, with much greater availability. I love Roundabout and I would rank them head and shoulders above telecharge (and DEFINITELY above ticketmaster) in customer service. Call today!!

Holiday Inn starts previews at Studio 54 on September 1.

Is it really that early? I'm a little shocked they're starting a holiday-themed show in the beginning of September!

Good to know! Thanks! I may still stick with the night before the Tonys but I'll have to look at flights. If I take the first flight in the risk is pretty low but if I cut it close I'll probably change.
