Got to the theater at 8am to get online for student rush tickets. By the time the box office opened at 11 there were maybe 60+ people. I got orch row U seat 29 and my friend got row T seat 29. I thought they would be bad seats but we saw everything (minus the flying on the upper levels). Great seats at a great price while the older women sitting next to me paid $140 and I paid $30.

The cast:
Matthew James Thomas: I was bummed when I saw Reeve was not on (apparently Reeve doesn't do mats).Matthew was amazing. Much better voice then Reeve and clear. He also acts the part and had chemistry with Jenn Damian (Mary Jane).

Jennifer Damiano: Loved her in next to normal. Loved her in Spidey however, she has such a small amount to work with. She is great with her crystal clear belt and stage presence

TV Carpio: According to one of the ushers she is the unofficial Arachne replacement for Natalie Mendoza. I liked TV however, I hated her role. So pointless. Get rid of the 2nd act and rewrite it.

Patrick Page: With what he is working with, he does great. The show stopped once and it was when he was flying. He was a good sport about it and made the audience chuckle for the short moment.

Geek Chorus note: I know a lot of people don't like themn I did. Thought they made the transitions smoother. They did however make some scenes confusing.

Loved loved loved the sets, the flying, the lighting and the cast. Hated the story. Liked the music. Some songs were in deed memorable (bullying by numbers, boy falls from the sky, rise above, think again, picture this, and bouncing off the walls come to mind). The show needs major act 2 revisions in the next month. I will definitely be re-visiting this show after it opens.

If anyone any questions about other cast members or roles or whatever don't hesitate to ask.

steven, saw the show Thursday night (12/30) and Reeve was out then too. Was not posted, just announced at the start.

Show was stopped twice, once when Spiderman's lines got tangled above causing him to loss momentum and could not make it back on to the ledge. The second stop, was near the end, prop netting got snagged coming up from below.

I found a review from Dec. 29th.. It seems Reeve wasn't on then either.. How many shows has he already missed?

Wasn't Reeve supposed to be doing all of the preview performances? I thought the press releases said they weren't putting the matinee alternate in until after the show officially opened.

Mister Matt, which evening did you see the show? It sounds like Reeve was more out than in this past week. And yes, the production originally stated that Reeve was going to do all the preview performances.

Just wondering, does Patrick Page do all of his flying himself?

Does anyone have any idea when these new "concepts" are going to be worked into the show? New Songs?

I read that The Edge and Bono are going to be in attendance at all preview performances (which, doesnt that sound like alot???)

Cant wait to see this.

Lies. The Green Goblin in the flight sequence during the Act 1 finale is not Patrick Page.

Bono and the Edge will attend all previews,
That's a bit harsh isn't it?

When a friend saw the show recently he said Reeve's voice was shot.
If most viewers are saying the score is one of the weakest points, why would they want more of it?
