My friend rushed Spongebob yesterday. She was second in line and by the time she purchased the tickets at 10, there were only five people in line. She got the $30 rush tickets in the mezz. Our seats were in the second to last row of the mezzanine, on the center right side. They weren't terrible seats and I LOVED the show! She noted they also offer $75 rush tickets.

The $75 rush tickets are side orchestra. The $30 ones are rear Mezz (not balcony).
TDF was, at least when I went, mid orchestra, on the sides

Lucky you. I myself have been incredibly spoiled by TDF. VERY DISAPPOINTED to pick up TDF seats tonight for tomorrow night's performance from the box office and to see they are ROW J MEZZANINE. Side. And I'll add, "Sigh".

Side orchestra, not bad at all.

I won the lottery for the matinee on Sat 11/18 and got Orch Center S 121, a very good view! The 3 people to my left and at least the person directly to my right had also won the lottery.

Posted: 12/6/17 at 3:05am$30 balcony. Rush the Wed before Thanksgiving. Decent seats for the cash, row H seats near the left side. Got to theater around 7 am. First in line. Next person came around 715.

Rushed today out of the blue. My afternoon plans in midtown fell through and I thought maybe the weather had scared people away.
Got to the theater around 12:25 and asked if they had any rush left. The woman said she had partial view balcony for both performances, so I chose the 2:00. I only needed a single so she said she had one balc. full view single and gave me that. It's in row E to the side. I'm excited to see the full set as I sat toward the back of the orchestra last time.
Also, the man in front of me wanted matinee tickets but the woman said they were basically sold out - glad to hear the good reviews have boosted ticket sales.

I rushed this afternoon's matinee too. I got to the theatre at about 1:15PM, and got a single ticket, Row A in the balcony for $30. My view was obstructed by the rail. I had to lean forward to see well, but I still enjoyed myself. It was a fun show. It was sold out, so apparently, I got there just in time.

Posted: 12/9/17 at 10:26pmGreat show and tons of fun. I know that speaking of TDF is unrelated to this, but just wanted to give an example of what a crap shoot it is. I went to the Wednesday matinee and was Orch V. Great seat and view and fun TDF people around me. I had a single seat. Had friends that went to the evening (three people) and they had front row on TDF. Personally, I would have hated being that close for such a visual show, but it goes to show how random TDF can be. I always think getting a single will get me a great seat, but I am always a little let down. Oddly do better with two or more, but if it is close to curtain, some very nice box office staff will move you if you bat your eyes and show the charm!

This isn't rush, lottery, or even TDF related, but, if anyone doesn't mind spending a little more, and would prefer to choose their seat, I highly recommend right orchestra M 2 for this show. With a discount code on Ticketmaster or at the box office, it's $79 during the week, or $89 on weekends. I know this isn't a great bargain compared to other options, including TKTS, but it was definitely worth it. No heads in the way, no mezzanine overhang cutting off the top of the amazing set, extra leg room...I would choose it again, in a heartbeat. For reference, this was my view:

The first week of previews, my roommate and I rushed together to get 3 tickets to the Saturday evening show and the box office employee sold us front row center of the balcony (yay!) until we got home and realized they sold us matinee tickets (noooo!), so we contacted them and they bumped us up to Orchestra P 6,8, & 10 for the evening show.
Great seats and an even better show, but it's such a big theatre and such an expansive design that there probably isn't a bad seat in the house.

CT2NYC, that’s the small section that’s raised up a bit, correct? I’ve been studying the map and checking out photos but haven’t quite been able to figure it out. :)
Can you tell me if you had an aisle there at all, or were you boxed in while those in seat 10 or whatever had the aisle? And do you know if those below closest to where you were in the orchestra had aisle or were right against where you were?
thanks so much! (And more thanks for all the great DEH help!)

So, on the left side of this pic, M 2 is the seat closest to the main orchestra section, right next to the divider, in the last row of the front walled-off section. Although it's hard to tell from the pic, the side aisles go all the way from the front to the rear of the theatre, so, yes, there's an aisle between the walled-off side sections and the seats below in the center orchestra. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you so very much, CT2NYC! I’m usually pretty intrepid in my researching but I couldn’t figure that one out with certainty.
I just got seats M 6 and 8 (no 10 in that row for some reason). I know M2 is a little better but it and 4 were taken and my 13 year old likes to be able to jump up and run to the restroom during intermission.
Can’t wait. Thanks again!
By the way, we were lucky to see DEH with Ben many times and when I asked her if she wanted to catch MLB or Noah next week she said she thought she needed just a little longer to mourn first. Ha ha. Teenagers!

Posted: 12/26/17 at 7:15pmJust a quick update for anyone looking to see the show on the cheap: lottery tickets are now $40, not $30 as they were previously. Not sure when they changed it or if it's just for the holiday season, but I noticed it the other day. Based on their website, lottery is $40 and rush is still $30. Self-explanatory, but thought I'd post it here.

I tried rushing last week at about 6p and they had $75 orchestra seats and $30 balcony seats left. I wasn't going to pay that much for orchestra rush and I didn't want to sit in the balcony so I decided to take my chances with TDF in January.

I was in the city for one day (12/20/17) on vacation from Florida and desperately wanted to take my 4-year-old son to see this so my husband and I both entered the lottery for the matinee and he won! The tickets were $30 each and they were phenomenal seats! Orchestra row O seats 120 and 118. Seriously amazing for lottery seats, I didn't have any expectations.
Also, the show is a blast. And there's a lot of talent in that cast. Seriously, don't write it off, it was a great time.

Rushed during the holiday period; the first people in line arrived at around 6 am. I got there at about 8:40, and there were four people in front of me, and they all needed multiple tickets. The people after me got there at about 8:50, and by 9 the line was growing fast. It was a two-show day, but by 10 am there were probably 30 people.
The pricing was tiered; when it was our turn we were offered $30 partial view tickets in the balcony that they said were "very" obstructed, or $75 full view tickets in the orchestra. Probably the most expensive rush I've ever encountered, but still half of what they're going for in advance.
The show is a total delight.

I got $75 rush tickets yesterday and we were third row centre of the orchestra. Fantastic seats. Don’t waste your money on the $30 balcony seats. Very obstructed.
Fantastic shoe. Pure fun. I really hope it has a healthy run!

Has anyone rushed this lately? How early did you have to get there and how were your seats? Or has anyone had any luck with lottery lately?
