I love Gaga... but she's really not a good actress. Putting her in Gypsy would be a terrible idea since it's such a complex role.

Streisand would slay. Although, I don't think she'd be as good as Patti. Better than Bernadette for sure, though.

I think Gaga could handle the transformation to Gypsy Rose Lee wonderfully, however, I'm not sure of she can play the innocence of Louise.

Sorry let me put into context. Taylor Swift as June or Ke$ha as Louise.

Ke$ha is like a real life Louise. She was a late bloomer with moderate talent who got in touch with her dirty side.

ANYWAY: Back to Gypsy. Maybe I just need to see how Gaga does in AHS this year to be fully sold on her as Louise.

while im pretry sure this is a tease for upcoming gypsy annoucement..  the picture is to calculated.. barbra's iconic profile.  the nose.  but my fantasy mind tells me BJS is going to be on AHS: HOTEL... a flashback with james brolin...searching for the truth

She's perfect for both parts, too! I for one love Gaga, and she really is a great actress. Everything she does is an act. She did go to NYU Tisch for theatre - and she's one of the few pop stars who sound the same live as on record. Her last CD was jazz standards with Tony Bennett - she has a very versatile voice. And with her unique look, she could easily pass for Louise or Fanny. Very exciting. Very, very exciting.

I'm SO here for Barba/Gaga.

How do people think of Annaleigh Ashford as Dainty June if this film gets made with Gaga? I always ask stuff on here because I know I'd pay and enjoy seeing Annaleigh as anything. I've heard her sing June, but how do you guys feel she would work off of Barbra and Gaga? Also, where did the Mueller rumour come from? I wouldn't be opposed to that in the slightest. As long as she finds someway to make Little Lamb bearable.

Streisand has been trying to set this project up with a studio for years and with no luck.  If they started shooting it next year, she'd be 74 and nobody's going there.  I'm afraid it will only ever be the movie in your mind.
