Besides, I didn't do that. I did her hair.
I'm not a big fan of that shade of red either, but you did a lovely job with her hair, Diva!

She did not play Patsy Klien, she played her manager. It's a two character show

No one else complained about the color...

Friends saw her in Jacksonville at the Alhambra Dinner Theatre back in 2012. They loved it. Thought she was great. If I remember correctly, they loved her because of her personality in the role. She seemed to be having fun with it.

Posted: 8/20/13 at 10:42pm^ That matches what I've read, too, that she brings a lot of personality to the part and seems to have genuine fun that makes up for any lack of vocal ability.

That new poster is big, loud, and red. People will notice it, all right. I guess that's what counts.
And you're right, Diva, that's not her body! LOL A big difference between that and the photo you posted. I like your "do" on her, too.
I've always found Sally delightful (although I can't picture her as Patsy Cline!). I wish her the best with this, and I'm also happy that a big production of it is going out on the road for the 50th.
70 cities?? Grueling.

Posted: 8/20/13 at 11:17pmShe's an absolute doll. I did "Full Monty" with her in Fredericksburg in March/April, and she attended our opening gala for "Les Miserables" (same theatre). I can't say a bad thing about her.

Posted: 8/21/13 at 12:02amIt's her first DUI right? I'm sure she'll get a slap on the wrist and send on her way. The tour is coming through here and honestly I'm excited. That poster has been up since the tour was announced so I wouldn't put stock on it being the official artwork.

here is a clip of her in another production.
She has a strong voice...however she plays the lyrics 'those good old days' for laughs bothers me.

With a strong director she could be great, she certainly radiates warmth.

If you're in the Chicago area, you can see Karen Ziemba as Dolly at the Drury Lane Oakbrook Theatre from October 16 through the first week in January.

Did I say it was the original? No.
The one Sally is wearing was designed to look like the dress that's in the Smithsonian...
You said it was a copy of the original which it is clearly not. There are similarities, but it is a far cry from a copy of the original dress.
