I have a funny story that I witnessed:
Backstage at Hollywood Squares they were having "Blondes Have More Fun Week" and Pamela Anderson, Sally Struthers, Carol Channing, and Barbara Eden were among the guests.
Sally sees Carol Channing backstage, and goes "Hello Carol!" and Channing responds with her arms outstretched to hug "BARBARA! How are yoooou?" and Struthers goes "It's Sally!" and Channing goes "Well, yesh, of coursh, SHALLLY!"
That actually happened.

You're the one who insulted someone because they said the dress doesn't look as nice as others. Then you called it a copy of the original when it's not. Defensive much about being wrong?
So, you don't have anything better to do than complain.
Thanks for proving my point.
It's a copy of the dress that's in the Smithsonian. That's based on the original
Feel better now?
I didn't know some people were too slow to figure that out on their own.
I'mma let you finish, but I just wanna say CarlosAlberto and I had one of the best arguments of all time! Of all time!

And do you live just to be incredibly bitchy? You're the one who felt the need to bring all of this up by insulting someone else for an opinion so you should be able to defend yourself when other people call you on it NOT being a copy. It's a pretty ****ty reproduction of the one in the Smithsonian so whether it's the original design or that one (Which I'm pretty sure is the original one, they look the exact same) the one Sally is in matches neither.
I find it funny that you say I have nothing better to do than complain when this entire thing came about because of you complaining.
I hope that the tour comes to Richmond, Virginia. Sally Struthers might make a wonderful Dolly.

So let's review. Theaterdiva posted a picture of Sally in a Hello Dolly dress. Somebody called it ugly.
Theaterdiva replied by calling that person a "dolt" and claiming that it was a copy of the original.
When it was pointed out that said dress was NOT a copy of the original, instead of accepting it and moving on with grace, theaterdiva denied that he said it was a copy of the original (along with more colorful language)
When it was brought up that theaterdiva did, in fact, say the dress was a copy of the original, once again, instead of owning up to it, theaterdiva said to blame the Smithsonian. (?????)
This is why posting on the internet brings out the worst in people.
She's actually coming here for a week! Since I said I would, I guess I'll have to go see her!
That's it. You don't deserve my posts. Have fun with yourselves.

Oh lordy what shall we ever do now without Diva "Dresser of The Stars!"
See what a douche you are?
Congratulations!

Mmmhmm. Play the victim some more.
Diva, if you don't end up working the McCallum engagement, or even if you do, please come out early and be my guest for dinner before the show.
I'mma let you finish, but I just wanna say CarlosAlberto and I had one of the best arguments of all time! Of all time!

That's only because outside these boards we are passionately in love with each other and we can't let anyone here on to us.
Don't ask, don't tell.

That's a brutal schedule for the cast/band/crew.
Doubt she'll be riding the bus with the rest of the cast.
Heard she is a lot of fun to work with and very nice.
And, yeah, it would have been cool to see Rob Reiner play opposite her.
Just a bit of Broadway related trivia: In my younger days, I used to watch "All In The Family". I remember an episode where Mike Stivic (Gloria's husband) is in college and a pretty young thing flirts with him, with the intention of a home run. I recall the petite-pretty girl had blonde curls, with a unique voice. Today, she is beloved by many, derided by some. Name that girl.

I didn't even know Ms Struthers sang.
People are always so quick to jump on people who they only remember as one character. She was also excellent in Gilmore Girls. And if you actually took a few minutes to look on youtube you would see that she has a very good singing voice and has done other shows around the country and for years.

I'm guessing this production will also feature a condensed 6 piece orchestration? So pummped for Garret hawe!
I saw her as Mrs. Meers back in June and she stole the show! That said, I don't really want to form an opinion on her as a musical theatre actress based on such a character role.
