Kristen and Deborah would be a great Velma and Roxie . Or Rutina as Velma

Anna could be Kitty, stealing the spotlight, and they could all say "F*CK Kitty!"

And can they change it to "We... Want... Billith. Give... Us... Billith."

Shields opposite a 22-year-old Velma? I just don't see it. It's happened before with the two roles, but I don't know about that much of an age difference.

If Vanessa Hudgens had any existence of acting talent, she'd be a good Roxie opposite Sam's Velma. Her voice is different and sweeter than Sam's and would be a good counterpart to it.

I think Sam will be fine. This will be really different for her and I am really excited for what she can bring to the table. She is crazy talented and already has an amazing start to her career, I highly doubt she will be anything less than top notch.

eh, I just bought a ticket. They had me at Stephen Moyer.

And I pretty much love Lucy Lawless as well..

The Bowl's "Rent" was a gorgeous evening in the Hollywood Hills, outdoors, as the sun sets. I'm in LA then and there are worst ways to spend a Friday night.

I do hope, since they cast Barks, that the Roxie will be age corespondent though..

I didn't know Stephen Moyer sang. It will be interesting to see him in it!!! And Brooke Shields is directing?? I know she has been in Chicago but has she directed anything like this before?

I see her as more Roxie than Velma, but either way good for her. As Clap says, she can dance
