Carolee Carmello's agent probably negotiated a clause that in all advertising her name had to appear in at least 20% of the size type of the title of the show.

I'm looking forward to seeing one of the last performances of Scandalous tonight, hopefully with some Schmackary's and a bottle of something nice.

I thought she was very sweet and gracious, she mentioned several other shows and encouraged people to see ALL theater, not just her show.

I think she handled herself with class.

I did say in my original post that she was classy and devoid of bitterness; the point was more about the nature of the defense offered, not Gifford's behavior or tone of the announcement. But I believe she's handled talking about the show on her day job well, and I'm not among those who criticized her for plugging the show.
