1600 Pennsylvania Avenue (yeah, yeah, I know...the Bernstein Estate won't allow it but I don't care. I want my revival with Brian Stokes Mitchell as Lud Simmons, Audra McDoanlad as Seena and Victoria Clark as The First Lady)

Bat Boy would probably be considered a revival...(it's been more than three years since the Off-Broadway production) remember that Assassins was considered a revival...

I would really like to see Victor/Victoria with Laura Benanti as Victoria, Cheyenne Jackson as Toddy, Leslie Kritzer as Norma and maybe Norbert Leo Butz as King but i'm not sure about that last one. I just love the music and I love Laura Benanti. If it has to wait a few years, I'll be patient. I just really need to see this happen.

I have to agree with Gothampc about Anything Goes. I really treasure my recording with Patti as Reno and I think Roundabout would really ruin it. The rumors of Reba playing Reno just don't sit well with me. I know that she would really help the box office but Roundabout doesn't need any help there. Maybe Encores! would do it the right way. Maybe Leigh Ann Larkin in a few years. Who knows.
p.s. I forgot to add On the Town with the Encores! cast. That would complete my life. Other shows would be Brigadoon, Steel Pier, Funny Girl (I don't know how the new Fanny could ever compare to Barbra) and Sweet Charity but done the right way.

Closer to Heaven? The Pet Shop Boys musical from London? I had the misfortune of seeing that. Awful show. A couple of decent songs, but nothing else redeemable. Even if it had better sets and choreography (which wouldn't be difficult), it would meet a fate worse than Taboo's.
While we're talking plays, can we please bring back that incredible revival of An Inspector Calls?
