Santino is long-gone, girl. He's now getting ready to play Michael Dorsey/Dorothy Michaels in the highly anticipated Broadway musical adaptation of the 1982 film TOOTSIE.

Ah I'm glad Gavin is back but I'll admit I wish I had seen Santino Fontana perform as Cornelius.

Santino did lovely work in Dolly. He was happy to play the straight man to Charlie Stemp’s campy Barnaby. Then he took center stage for his courtroom monologue and made it something special. Jerry Zaks has pushed the replacement cast to play the humor very broadly, but Santino delivered the potentially saccharine “moment” without a trace of irony and became the emotional heart of the show

I CANNOT wait to see him in Tootsie. One of the best casting decisions I've ever heard.
