Good call, as -- whether this was a publicist's story or not, it's great for the telling -- he auditioned for Pirelli in the Sweeney Todd picture with his rendition of the entire Fiddler score.

When I finally saw Equus, I was surprised to discover that (contrary to pop cultural memory) Harry Potter does not have sex with the horses.

It seems somewhere along the line, my brain had addled the plots of “Equus” and “Zoo” together. I still haven’t seen “Zoo” and I don’t plan to... hearing it described so often in high school during the YouTube shock era was enough.

You're not the only one who thinks, or thought, that's what happens in Equus. It's a pretty common simple plot description used by people who only knew that he got naked and there were horses involved.

I think the poster meant that the anecdote about SBC auditioning for Sweeney by singing the Fiddler score may have been planted by a publicist.
