Posted: 11/28/06 at 12:55amPlaybill.com has always been my source for current casts, but they have been very, VERY bad about updating their "Who's Who" sections over the past several months.

Posted: 11/28/06 at 12:58amI'm not sure who is playing it, but my cousin in the standby for Scar and he informed me that they were bringing someone in to cover the role while Page is in Grinch.

haha yes, we care.
i care because the lion king is a beautiful and life-changing experience. i also care because it is SO frustrating that disney, a huge well-respected and professional company, can't ever seem to update their casts lists or websites...it's been over a year since they changed the lion king!

Jess and Misto, I feel the same way. I never dare post a thing about TLK cause I know someone will bash it. lol I don't blame them too much.
Anyway, my mom saw the show about 3 weeks ago and saw Derek Smith in it. I really want to get over there soon to see Josh Tower and some other people that are really good in the show. Anyone see Patrick in Grinch?

Posted: 11/28/06 at 8:42pmI just got the cast recording the other day. I hadn't had a chance to listen to it until tonight, but it is really good. I must admit that even though I love all things Disney, I put this show at the end of my "must see" list because of it didn't jump at me (I feel the same about Mary Poppins at the moment). But after listening to the recording tonight, it's going to be bumped up on the list!
