she's in NY currently? I met her on Tuesday and I heard that she left for LA the same day. Is that true? and if it is true then when is she coming back to NY?

By the way she may not have the best voice, but her voice is sexy and husky.

she does seem to be a very nice person. unfortunatly nice wont stop her voice from cracking as it seems to like to do.

I know some people have seen her a lot around the theatre lately. Apparently she needs to be there every night to 'study' the show. I never really followed the Spicegirls, so I can't say anything about her voice...that pic of her on broadway.com was scary (no pun intended), though.

It is not anything new that she would be around the theater studying the show. Joey was around for almost a month before he started. Even non-celebs that started their Rent careers on Broadway spent a lot of time at the theater before beginning, as I'm sure is the case with every show. Even people who have been doing the role for years have to observe after long breaks.

wow I just saw Rent in NY with my school.It was AMAZING We were there on a school trip and we saw actually saw Mel B there! She was sitting a few rows in front of us...we got all excited though and she knew we knew who she was so at intermission she quickly went backstage and at the end of the show she quickly left again! gerr ....I thought she was friends with someone in the play but after learning this maybe she was just there to watch!...interesting...I wonder how she will be at playing Mimi..hmmmm Updated On: 3/27/04 at 03:35 AM
