Hmm...I don't like this news. RENT was always intended to feature new up-and-coming talent. How old is she? Isn't she 30 something??? She had to have been in her 20's when she was with the Spice Girls. I don't think Jonathan Larson whould have been happy with the "star" casting....although I would love to see Neil Patrick Harris play Mark on Broadway as he did in LA. actually daphne was what 27 I think when she did mimi. I am 27 and i could easily pull off a 19 year old. (hopefully god will be good to me when i really need it)

I agree give her a chance I mean she is already cast...people will either see her or not. although I do not see a big windfall for scary spice. I just hope they do not make her name bigger then jonathan larsons...haha

oh dear.... I guess you guys know how I feel about stunt-casting for the most part.... but this is very interesting. I mean, she certainly looks the part and can sing it well for sure, but still... I'm not sure how I feel about this. At first glance it was laughable, but I'm not too happy. I wonder if she can act.
