Posted: 8/17/05 at 2:40pm"Son of a Witch" is the sequal to the book, which follows a different path and ending than the musical. You could write sequal to the musical that follows that show's ending, but the book follows a character who doesn't exist in the musical.

Fifth of July - Sequel to Tallys Folly was a success..
But some of the worst shows I've seen on Broadway have been sequels : The sequel to Whorehouse and Bring Back Birdie come to mind.
