Jordan thanks for the review... it's gotten me more interested in School of Rock than I had been (as I said previously I was probably going to go just because Im an ALW fan but wasnt exactly excited with this project)
Im assuming by "traditional" you're saying its not through-sung/operatic but more dialogue with songs interspersed

Im assuming Teachers Pet is the title song from the movie with a new name? (the lyrics of it include "So if you wanna be a teachers pet" so I'm assuming yes)

no i always own up to things. Im not shy about being honest. But I know a lot of people who saw School of Rock who I thought paid for their tickets

A "public performance" doesn't mean it's free. It means it is open to the public notwithstanding any other basic requirements to be granted admission. Like, you know, purchasing a ticket or something.
On the other hand, if something is private that typically means it is "invite-only" (and is free). You definitely do not know anything about the industry and should shut the hell up.
