Jordan thanks for the review... it's gotten me more interested in School of Rock than I had been (as I said previously I was probably going to go just because Im an ALW fan but wasnt exactly excited with this project)
Im assuming by "traditional" you're saying its not through-sung/operatic but more dialogue with songs interspersed
Yup, that's exactly what I meant.

Im assuming Teachers Pet is the title song from the movie with a new name? (the lyrics of it include "So if you wanna be a teachers pet" so I'm assuming yes)
Jordan thank you for the review

Another block of tickets just went on sale for additional Gramercy Theatre shows on this coming Wed, Thu & Fri at 7:30pm.
I wish they found a way to incorporate Edge of Seventeen. I love that seen in the movie.
Very excited for this!
OMG THEY ARE GIVING AWAY FREE TICKETS TODAY!
"OMG THEY ARE GIVING AWAY FREE TICKETS TODAY!"
Where does it say that?
Where are the words "free tickets?"

^Exactly. ClydeBarrow, the tickets are 40 dollars. Here is the Broadway.com article that surprisingly gives more clarity.

Pintobean, if you're going to try and f*ck someone at Broadway.com you could at least check their site for more information.

What? and if it says "public performance" doesnt that mean free? what have the other performances been then if not public?

It's not a closed workshop dingus mcgee.
The other performances haven't been closed workshops either though right?
Its just advertising that there's a concert tonight. There's a public performance of Wicked tonight too....

Don't you know sooooo many industry insiders? You should ask them.
Sorry you were wrong about something. You'll just deny ever saying it if someone brings it up again.
no i always own up to things. Im not shy about being honest. But I know a lot of people who saw School of Rock who I thought paid for their tickets

Jesus Christ. YOU DUMBASS.
A "public performance" doesn't mean it's free. It means it is open to the public notwithstanding any other basic requirements to be granted admission. Like, you know, purchasing a ticket or something.
On the other hand, if something is private that typically means it is "invite-only" (and is free). You definitely do not know anything about the industry and should shut the hell up.

Wait. There's a public performance of Wicked tonight! OMG. I've never wanted to see that again!
