If any of you have seen Promises, Promises and visited the stage door, please share your experiences meeting Sean Hayes and/or the rest of the cast :)

I saw Promises, Promises on April 9th and the stage door was packed. Everyone came out from what I could see and signed for everyone they could reach. Sean came out and signed but I dont think he took picutres. I have heard from others that he does take pictures but that night it would have taken him forever to get to everyone. Also Kristin came out and was so sweet to everyone. You can take pictures of her but not with her and your flash has to be off.
The show is funny and has some great songs, but I believe there are a few things to be worked on before opening. But that is just my opinion.
Hope you have a great time!

Posted: 4/20/10 at 12:21amShe has Meniere's dissease. Look it up. Speaking of the Emmys, she did have a flare-up right after she won, probably because of all the flash photography. Do your homework before calling BS.

I saw it last week, and they both came out. Sean Hayes was super nice; he signed and took pictures. Kristin was also very sweet. She signed and did pictures too, but no flash, as others have said. She also told me in passing that she liked my earrings, which totally made my night (yep, I'm a dork).
By the way, people suck--despite multiple warnings from her security guy / driver about no flash, there were still lots of camera flashes happening when she came out and while she was signing.

Posted: 4/20/10 at 9:01amIf you want a pic with her, do it after a matinee when it's still light out. She's very sweet but the flash problem is a real one so it would be nice if more people respected that.

Posted: 7/3/10 at 10:33amI've noticed that this was posted around april. Do the actors still come out for stagedoor? I saw the show thursday night, and had to catch a train, so didn't stick around to see if there was stagedoor. I would love to meet Sean Hayes!

When I went, I got everyone but Kristin (she broke her toe, so they were taking her to the hospital). Sean was really nice.
I'd suggest forgetting the curtain call. Run. it's a tad ridiculous how crowded it gets.
My friend and I actually walked down during the finale (we were in mezzanine) and hung out by the stairs and waited til the lights dimmed, then ran for our lives.

Posted: 7/3/10 at 3:43pmI hope, AudreyTwoTwo, that no one takes you up on your suggestion. (I know this is written every time someone offers this advice and this time I'll bite.) If you truly care about the actors you are expecting to take their time connecting with you and fulfilling your wishes for autographs &/or pics, I would hope you'd have the respect to not walk out on their finale and curtain call.
