On the OBC of Avenue Q the character of Rod sounds very similar - in voice and vernacular - to Sean's character, Jack in 'Will and Grace'. I was just thinking he would make a great Rod.
I know it wouldn't be appropriate for him to play it because he needs to further prove that he isn't a one trick pony. (I say 'further' because he was excellent playing against type in the Indie hit 'Pieces of April')
For purely selfish reasons, I'd love to see him play Rod, he would be amazing!
p.s. I also think that Ann Harda (Christmas Eve) sounds very similar to Judy Garland when singing 'The More You Ruv Someone')

I think he was horrible in that. He never got into the character.

I read this title as "Helen Hayes living on Avenue Q" and was confused on so many levels.
I think he'd do a nice job.

This thred has been on my mind today...
How is being gay, being a 1 trick pony? Most actors play straight characters...are they one trick ponies? Or what about a black actor?
