Go see Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris.
Tickets are very reasonable, the Zipper is a fun place, the show is closing on the 25th, and is playing to full audiences, so it's a fun atmosphere.
And the songs are wonderful. Cuccioli, Marshall, Maroulis, and Paterson are totally entertaining for the full time of the show.
On my last trip I saw Les Miz, which I was expecting to be great, and it was, and I saw Jacques Brel with no expectations, and was utterly delighted. JMHO, but there it is.
And if you ever had doubts about seeing Maroulis, go anyway. He's got really great chops, he's a legit theatre person, not a celebrity stuntcast. He and Cuccioli are a total team on their numbers, and his solo stuff is excellent too.
And if you haven't seen Les Miz, go, even if just to marvel at the turntable stage and the giant set pieces. Very cool.
