thank you roundabout and broadwayHD
outstanding broadcast and performance
so glad they got the buffering issues taken care of early!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was a fantastic stream for a fantastic show. The show looked as gorgeous on my laptop screen as it did when I saw it in April. Excellent job to everyone involved!!
It really is a perfect musical. I am glad I got to see this fabulous production twice, and now it's preserved forever!
And wow it's been trending on Twitter all night. currently the #2 trend in the country!!

That was EVERYTHING! Thank you BroadwayHD and Roundabout! Fantastic camera work. Bravo to the cast and crew. Such a joy. My Grandma who is unable to get to NYC watched with us and she LOVED every minute of it!
This overwhelmingly exceeded my expectations. They said they'd keep it available for one week and then take it down to fix it up for permanent viewing. But honestly it's perfect right now. The camera work was exceptional. I'm so happy - this show is so special! I only wish they could have filmed Bright Star like this. Oh well. There's a great future ahead with other shows.

I tuned in at the end of the first act. Had some buffering issues but not awful. Want to watch again -- when can I start from the beginning and watch the whole show?

For those who saw this already, how did it compare to your live experience? I rarely get to see anything twice, so this was really fun! I loved when Benanti dropped the ice cream on the bed and how she went with it. Oh, the magic of live theatre

It was fantastic. I can't wait to watch it again since I missed so much of act 1. I thought this was so much better than some other productions I have seen filmed. Like the camera work for the Rent recording was annoying. And that wasn't broadcast live. But, having seen this live did not ruin this for me at all.

I loved every second of this! Saw the show three times, twice from front row. This broadcast really did a wonderful job showing all the details that, I would guess, you might not get in the rear mezz.
The only thing I would have changed is that I wish there were a few less camera cuts during the ensemble scenes like A Romantic Atmosphere and Twelve Day to Christmas with maybe a wider shot throughout those songs. Otherwise, I loved all the camera work in the scenes with fewer people.
Can't wait to watch this again :)
Very impressed by the production as well as Broadway HD! I had the same issues that everybody was having before the show started. Once the show started, the video was good quality, & I didn't have any buffering issues at all. I'll definitely be watching the show at least once more with friends & family to get my money's worth, but it was also a great show!!

So, so good. I would say it's almost up there with the live experience. In some ways it's better because you really get to see every nuance of the actors' expressions -- I sat in 4th row orchestra once and still couldn't see that kind of detail. On the other hand, the close-ups mean that you don't get to see some of the action in the background, but that's of secondary importance.
I do think the camera should've panned out to a wide shot to show the whole stage at times. That's something they can easily fix in post though.
Benanti's ice cream dropping was absolutely HILARIOUS and I hope they keep it in.
Overall, what a great experience! I had some buffering issues (even in the second act) but it was entirely due to the unreliable connection on my end and absolutely nothing to do with BroadwayHD. The video runs they had before today definitely paid off -- they knew which camera to switch to at key times. Sound was crystal clear. The actors were on their top game. I can't wait to rewatch it when I get home tonight!!
Anyone have success in trying to watch it from the beginning? I wasn't able to watch it live but I paid the $9.99 to watch it later, so hopefully they put it up soon!
Its Facebook page said by midnight Pacific time.
Rats, well I'll have something to look forward to for after work!
We loved every second of this. She Loves Me is one of my favorite shows and it was a true blessing to see it this way. I'll be watching it a few more times! Thank you, Broadway HD!

OK - got home just in time to watch the ending credits. When I try to watch it now I get "Invalid Content Specified". Before I lose it, I am going to assume that the recording is not currently available. When will it be available?
Why is there no info on their site?

Here's to hoping that the increase in subscriptions + $9.99 = a number that catch other Broadway/West End theaters' eyes. (I'm looking at you Circle in the Square for Fun Home!)

Thanks for this - scheduled to be available on their site tomorrow. I am up off the floor and breathing again. So looking forward to getting home from work tomorrow to watch it (and maybe a few more times over the 3-day weekend).

I absolutely loved this. Had the pleasure of playing Sipos in a college production, and I was thrilled when this live stream was first announced.
For me, Act I was was plagued with BUFFERING nearly every 15-20 seconds. I nearly gave up at intermission, but decided to try a different browser (from Firefox to Chrome) for Act II. So glad I did, because the second act played without a single hitch. I'll be revisiting it within the week so I can properly experience the first half.
Despite the technical issues on my end, the show itself looked & sounded fantastic. I hope this sets a new trend for Broadway productions which (like "She Loves Me" are nearing the end of their runs.
OK, I finally get the Laura Benanti love. I mean, I liked her well enough on NASHVILLE, but this was entirely something else! And if Zach Levi was a tad sitcom, he managed to create a whole character out of the schtick. I loved how his cartwheel gave him a bump on the title number to equal the bump Benanti gets for her high note on "Ice Cream". Use what ya got, dude!
All in all, a beautiful production! (We had never seen it before except in minimalist form in 99-seaters.)
