Well now that the story has reached this level and is on the Today show, I am sure this dream will become reality! I wouldn't be surprised if they flew the daughters out there, too. Truly heartwarming.

That's a new segment on the Today show, where viewers come up with ways to help make people's wishes come true or some such... if Motown actually paid for it, they wouldn't get as much exposure as letting The Today Show run with it... so, what good is the ability to afford it, if you simultaneously remove the publicity angle?

That's exactly what I looked like when I got tickets to see my first Broadway show - Wicked, when I was 12. I'm so happy for her!!

I remember reading that after Cinderella stopped printing colour playbills, Laura still had a stash of them in her dressing room, and if you sent her a letter asking for a signed playbill, you would get a colour one! Don't know how long this continued but people were surpised to get colour ones in the mail.
