Madbrian, were you at the matinee performance yesterday (Sun 11/13)? If so, I was there as well.
I was totally blown away by the production. I did not get to see either of the two Broadway incarnations of this production, so I can't say how the tour compares, but every single element of the show was incredible IMO. Randy Harrison's interpretation of The Emcee was beyond brilliant. He was creepy, charming, dark, funny, and sinister all at once. And what a voice! His "I Don't Care Much" was a highlight.
Andrea Goss played a delicate but powerful Sally. I felt that her performance of the title song was on the weaker side, but loved everything else that she did.
The direction was stunning, and the final scene was exhilarating. One moment that is really sticking with me is when The Emcee drops the brick in Frau Schneider's place.
If you have the opportunity, I would absolutely recommend seeing this tour.
