re: Should I audition for Spring Awakening?

I know. I've seen Spring Awakening three times. re: Should I audition for Spring Awakening? I just don't understand your delivery.

re: Should I audition for Spring Awakening?

It's too staccato. If you actually held the notes like you're supposed to, I'd say totally. You have a good voice (I think; can't really tell), but it's a really bad interpretation.

Make one of you actually singing and holding the notes like they should be and try again.

You have potential, but your voice is lacking the technique and musicality needed to be in any professional show. Get some voice lessons, and learn how to read music/learn some theory. You need to have that with all the harmonies in SA, unless you have an insanely good ear.

I am think of auditioning.... this is not perfect, and I didn't warm up, and its in a straight tone, but what do you think?

I think you should warm up and not waste people's time if you know it is crap.

PEACE.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Look at comments under his video. He made another account to write an opinion on his own video."

Way to go, SAfan7890. Did you really think we were that stupid...you create another YouTube account to reply to your own video, then use that name here? Or was it just a coincidence? I also find it funny how someone just happened to comment on it 5 minutes after you originally commented with a similar praise...I wonder if that is you as well. Based on that, no, I don't think you should audition if you don't even have confidence in yourself and have to resort to those measures to make yourself look or sound good.

"I took AP musica theory and can read music, and I know it was a little off it was acapella"

So just because it is a capella means it is okay to be "off."

Huh? So you post comments to make yourself look good?

re: Should I audition for Spring Awakening?

People are "snoody" because this whole thing just seems so bogus.

re: Should I audition for Spring Awakening?

If most theatre people are snoody, perhaps you shouldn't consider a profession where you are going to be around snoody people constantly.

MOST PEOPLE, in MOST PROFESSIONS don't like people who play games. What usually works best is to have skill, personality, and integrity.

re: Should I audition for Spring Awakening?

so, you joined today just so you could post yourself singing a song to get attention and fish for compliments?

dude- if you want to audition- go audition. don't depend on strangers on a message board who don't even know what you look like to give you sound advice.

how many other screen names do you have on this site?

you have talent, and you obviously know it, given your self-responses to your own video, so just suck it up, have self-confidence, and don't post nonsense on this board so you can feel good about yourself.

oh, and don't enunciate so much. it's too much of a good thing in your vid.

Hey, you ASKED for our opinions KNOWING it was not your best. It was a waste of our time.
I just do not understand why people post crap like this then get upset when people get "snoody".

I would just stay in school and improve your grammar and vocabulary. Or at least post a picture of yourself so we could see if you are PHYSICALLY right for SA.
PEACE.
